SYNOPSIS: It's Pipling Gift Day in Nara and each of the Piplings receives an anonymous present from one of the others. Everyone is delighted with their useful gifts except De Li, who doesn't know what to do with hers – a stick! Not wanting to hurt the feelings of whoever has given it to her, she tries to find a use for it. When the children arrive, they suggest using it as a walking stick. As they all hike along, De Li discovers that her stick isn’t only good for walking; it makes a whoosh sound and attracts the narabugs too! Finally De Li realises that her stick is more than just a stick ¬– it’s filled with special seeds for her to plant! / Les Piplings jouent à s'offrir des paquets-surprise : ils emballent des cadeaux dans des boîtes identiques puis se les échangent entre eux. Chacun découvre avec joie son nouveau cadeau, à l'exception de De Li qui est très intriguée par le sien : il s'agit d'un bâton qui émet un bruit de hochet lorsqu'on le secoue. Elle décide de demander de l'aide aux Cheebies pour tenter de deviner à quoi peut bien servir le mystérieux bâton. Avec la complicité de Nok Tok, ils découvriront qu'il s'agit d'un objet tout à fait astucieux...
