Los Angeles (March X, 2010) – Berry Meyerowitz, President & CEO of Phase 4 Films, announced today the acquisition of North American rights to three films directed by independent filmmaker, Uwe Boll (”In the Name of the King,” “Postal”): DARFUR, starring Billy Zane, Edward Furlong and Kristanna Loken; THE FINAL STORM, starring Lauren Holly and Luke Perry; and RAMPAGE starring Brendan Fletcher and Shaun Sipos. Representing a departure for Boll due to its serious subject matter, DARFUR is supported by a screening program with Amnesty International and Phase 4 Films plans to theatrically release the film this summer.
Said Meyerowitz, “This new slate of films from Uwe Boll ranges from the high octane action you expect from him, to a serious drama. Uwe’s genre bending approach to filmmaking guarantees each film will find an eager audience."

DARFUR is a call-to-action drama about a group of Western journalists in Sudan visiting a small village to gather footage and interviews in hopes of reporting on the atrocities they have seen. When they hear that armed gunmen are headed toward the village, they confront the dilemma of whether to run for safety or stay behind and attempt to avert the village’s slaughter.
In the horror thriller, THE FINAL STORM, several strange weather-related catastrophes are being reported around the globe. But more unsettling is how one family begins to notice that neighbors, cars, birds and crickets are all nowhere to be seen nor heard. Among these eerie signs, a soft spoken man named Silas stumbles onto their property, sick and cold. Maybe it is the apocalypse. The rapture. The end of days. And they are all that is left of humanity.
RAMPAGE is an action drama where one man with a thirst for revenge builds full body armor from Kevlar and goes on a killing spree.
